Blog post #2 - due Wednesday, April 5
Dear students,
This week's topic will combine sports, exercise and grammar. Answer the following questions in paragraph form.
1. Are you interested in sports?If so, what is your favorite sport?
2. How long have you been playing it, or participating in it?
3. Have you ever been on a team?
4. What else do you do for exercise?
5. How long have you been doing it?
As before, please answer in paragraph form, and please respond to at least one of your classmates.
I'm interested in many types of sports especially dancing. I love and I'm used to dancing since I was a child. I'm used to watching videos on You Tube of different international types of dances such as: Belly Dance, Samba, Tango, and even traditional dance such as: Kolbasti and Tahitian dance which is similar to belly dance. When I was a child I wanted to be a ballerina, but unfortunately, there wasn't dance school in my city. Therefore, I haven't been on a team. Recently, i joined a gym near my house. It has Yoga, meditation and Zumba classes. They are amzing.
ReplyDeleteI love to play many types of sports, for example: soccer ball, table tennis, and basketball. Basketball is my favorite. I have watched The National Basketball Association since I was 15 years old. Therefore, I joined school basketball team for 2 years. However, we just won the second grades once. The craziest thing I did for basketball is when I was in high school, I skipped class to play basketball. I am very appreciated that I have opportunity to watch Live Game in America.

DeleteMy favorite sport is rope skipping. when i was undergraduate. I was my school team member, and had been joined competition. Now I come here. There is many people to take exercise, and they teach me very exercise skills such as deep squat and weightlifting. They all exercise your cardie-pulmonary function, also make you have more energy for work. After my class, I take subway to go home. When I arrive my room. I will go to gym and take exercise everyday. Sometime when I was very tired or have a lot of homework. I do not do it.

ReplyDeleteI like swimming very much. I used to swim every weekend but now I'm very busy. However, I will participate in a swimming club soon because now I'm not very good at swimming as before. I haven't joined any team before but joining a team is what really counts. In addition, exercise plays a very important role in my life because it helps me to keep healthy and feel very energetic. I have been doing exercise for a long time.I do different kinds of exercises for one hour. I go to gym every couple days. If I couldn't go to gym, I do exercise at home just to keep the track of doing exercise every day.

ReplyDeleteYour comments are very interesting! I like the fact that all four of you like - and do- different types of exercise. When I was a young adult, I loved to dance. I probably still would, but I married a man who doesn't like to dance! So, my opportunities are limited. I also like to do yoga. It is fairly new to me, as I have only been doing it since last August. As some of you know, my very favorite sport is swimming. I swam every day when I was in Florida in January. I haven't been swimming since then, but hope to get back into it regularly soon, when the weather is warmer.
As for spectator sports, they don't much interest me! I would rather do than watch. I agree with Harry that I think it is important for all of us to be physically active, to remain so as we age.
