For today's topic I am combining 2 requests for topics: idioms and technology. This will be a lesson about slang expressions related to technology.

You have listened in class to an  introduction of American slang by JenniferESL. You have also listened to Lesson 8, Part I about technology, and made a list of those expressions. Listen to it again, and answer these questions:

1. Which of these expressions have you heard before? Which have you never heard?
2. Which might you use in the future?
3. In what situations might these expressions be appropriate and inappropriate?

If possible, react to your classmates' comments.

This week's topic will combine sports, exercise and grammar. Answer the following questions in paragraph form.

1. Are you interested in sports?If so, what is your favorite sport?
2. How long have you been playing it, or participating in it?
3. Have you ever been on a team?
4. What else do you do for exercise?
5. How long have you been doing it?
